My cousin who is back for Christmas came over on Sunday afternoon for a visit, along with her brother. We talked, watched a couple of DVDs, had a delicious lunch and played many rounds of Uno. It is great to have her back, we have all missed her. She brought chocolates from America for my sisters and I. I really like the Milky Way Bar (which I think is available here in South Africa) and Reese’s Caramel Peanut Butter Cup. Kissables taste like our Nestlé Smarties but have a different chocolate taste… I like Cadbury chocolate the most though…
On Monday morning my older sister had given each of my younger sisters and myself some money which we used at the mall that day. We met up with our cousin at the mall and did some browsing and very light shopping. While we waited on my cousin’s brother to arrive we sipped on delicious slushies before seating ourselves at Spur where we would all have lunch on my cousin’s brother’s arrival. My youngest sister and I had a kid’s portion of ribs and fries. I should have ordered a rib burger instead, no bones and less messy…

Christmas is just a few days away! I can not wait to spend time with the family and have fun. To add to some existing Christmas gifts, I made some charm bracelets for some of my female cousins and I had also made a pale pink pearl rosary for my godmother. I know that my godmother will really like the rosary, well, I hope she does. It took some time to make because I did not rush as I feared to scratch the pearls with the wire pins and pliers. In the end it turned out beautiful, I think…
I think that my younger sisters, cousins and I will be over at my grandfather’s house tomorrow. We want to clean it up because none of us want Christmas at our aunt’s house instead of my grandfather’s. We spend every Christmas day at my grandfather’s house, it is tradition. None of us like our aunt’s house, there is nothing to do besides sit in her lounge and do nothing better but sleep and we do not want to spend Christmas day like that. As my grandfather has been living with my aunt for some time now, his house has been empty and collecting dust, it needs to be cleaned. So we want to get the place cleaned up so we can have our traditional Christmas day at our grandfather’s house. Even if we have to make it happen by ourselves…

I suggested an awesome title. Apparently it was shot down.
