Ahhh, well, at least she realized her mistake. :) Hopefully they'll last longer if you get them done there again. I've only ever had mine done at one place, and they filed them sooo thin. I didn't know any better at the time and thought that was normal. But, apparently you can request that they either do minimal filling or not file your nails at all. I'm not sure if it makes much of a difference when it comes to the life of the acrylics though.

And, hey, even free services should still be decent. But, like I said, at least she realized her mistake instead of it just being because of low quality work.
Did they file your nails down before putting the acrylics on? A lot of places still do that, and it's completely unnecessary and really damages your nails.
Yeah, she filed my nails down and said she forgot to use the something pen before applying the acrylic onto my nails. I don't remember what she called that "pen" but she did say it helps the acrylic to stick...?
Still, it seems kind of bratty to complain about something done for free. I doubt she did them shitty on purpose.
I am a brat. And I never said that my aunt had done a bad job on purpose, only that I doubt she had done them properly... I don't know what proper acrylics should look and be like anyway. LOL!

That sucks if your nails are damaged and they just popped off. My beauty school friend did mine for my birthday and they only lasted 3 days, but when they did pop off my nails were still healthy underneath. If they were on firmly enough to damage your nails you would think they would stay in place.

Still, it seems kind of bratty to complain about something done for free. I doubt she did them shitty on purpose.

I've had acrylics before and it took them until after 2 fills (probably about a month) before they started lifting! Did they file your nails down before putting the acrylics on? A lot of places still do that, and it's completely unnecessary and really damages your nails. Invest in a good cuticle cream, get some Biotin, and just pamper those babies.
