If We Cannot Be Clever, We Can Always Be Kind

So my plans for my act of kindness for today didn’t go go as I as planned. But I did send David a header graphic for his website. I didn’t spend too much time on it as I haven’t been on my computer much these past several days. It’s nothing grand but hopefully he’ll like it.

My mother had a busy day today, she had to attend a funeral, help my father out at the shop and come home every now and then to check on my younger sisters and cook. So when she was about to hang the wet laundry up to dry, I told her to leave it and get get herself ready as she was in the middle of doing so for funeral. So I picked up the basket and hung the wet laundry for her.

These may not be great Acts of Kindness but it’s not like they weren’t done from the heart. After all, what would an act of kindness be if it wasn’t from the heart.

  1. Kindness is the bet weapon of revenge. I heard that somewhere but that’s nice that you helped your mother hang up the laundry. I wouldn’t have acknowledged that out of the many things she was doing. But you don’t have to give the needy a year supply worth of food to show acts of kindness, you have to start small and hey . . . there’s your start.
