And with that, here follows a list of Seven Random Facts About Randi:
- I have this thing of shaking my ass to get myself to sleep when I can’t. It happens to work for some reason that is unknown to me.
- I tend to make up silly lyrics and sing them out loud at random times, especially when I am bored. You should hear my song titled, “Mosquito”. I have several remixes of it even!
- I have a black hair that grows out of the right side of my right breast. I pluck it out whenever I see it as it just keeps growing back.
- My left ribcage is malformed. Put your right hand’s fingertips over the top of your left hand’s and slightly arch… Yeah, that is what it is like. It is uncomfortable when laying on that side as it causing the overlapping part to grind over further. My doctor was stumped when I told her I was never injured there and she thinks I may have been born with this malformation.
- I commentate myself using a very fake American accent while baking, cooking, putting on make up… As if I were hosting my own television show. “Now you take an egg and crack it being sure not to get any of its shell into the bowl. Yeah that wouldn’t be good at all, so be very careful not to do so. Now once we’ve done that we’re going to add a cup of sugar…”
- I have clinical depression and may have to continue taking my medication for the rest of my life.
- I have a scar on my forehead above my right eyebrow from hitting my head against a bookshelf when I was very young, this resulted in me having several stitches in and out. I was attempting to fly through it, or so I would like to think that is how it happened!

Lol, I make up weird songs too lol. Hmm, we seem to have a lot of weird things in common lol. And my old roommate was born with a double ribcage, so I’m used to that.
I am about to do this right now. I have a dark hair on my left boob. Sometimes a couple hairs on each but always at least one. My boyfriend likes to pull them out even though they don’t bother me (or him, really, I don’t think).
Also, I shake myself to sleep too. Not always my ass. Sometimes just my leg or just my feet. Sometimes I’ll start doing it when I get tired and I won’t even realize I was falling asleep until it happens.
I had something similar happen to me when I was young as well. I also do weird things (I rub my feet together) to fall asleep. Whatever works right?
And I’m doing this next! =]
I don’t think I do anything out of the ordinary to get myself to sleep. I listen to “new age”-ish music though (like waves crashing against the shore, wind chimes, nature sounds) to get myself to sleep. It helps clear my head.
You HAVE to sing ‘mosquito’ sometime! OMG. LOL I have a bite on my foot right now…the little buggers always goes for my feet. AAARG. Love the 7 things!
I feel the need to disseminate this horrible abuse of the word meme, and what I posted at Hallqs page sufficiently gets across my point, so I’ll paste:
Sorry, but you are entirely misdirected about what a ‘meme’ is. A survey or chain letter or pass-me-on or whatever this is has no relation to the word. In order to not look silly or foolish, you should research terms before using them. You can’t make something a meme just by declaring it so, and if this was one, it would be instantly recognized and occur regularly in the social consciousness in various forms. All your base are belong to us and LOLcats are memes, ‘list 7 weird things about yourself’ is a survey at best, and a piece of unsolicited spam chainmail at worst. Also, a meme can’t be ‘invented,’ a meme just happens. In addition, as this is about the 20th blog I’ve posted this comment to, it really makes me sad to know that people are such blindly-following, unthinking automatons that they readily repeat things as fact without so much as an inkling of skepticism.
