So Vodacom was having “problems” with their 3G network earlier… The whole morning! And so I couldn’t get online and it was frustrating because I wanted to write a blog post but am no longer in the mood to write what I was going to at that time.
I called Vodacom and asked a call center agent if he had any idea when the network will be up again because I hadn’t been able to connect to the internet the whole morning because. He told me that their technicians were working on it and that he didn’t know when the 3G network will be running again. “Oh OK… Well, thanks for nothing and have a good day!” I said as I was about to hangup the phone…
“Well is there anything else I can help you with?” Asked the call center agent. “Um, no thanks. I just wanted to find out when I can get online again. I haven’t been able to do so all morning!” I replied. The call center agent made me think he had a hearing disability when he asked me, “So you are aware that you cannot get online because the 3G network is down at the moment?” “YES! I am aware of that. So yeah, thanks again for nothing. Have a good day!” And I hung up the phone.
What the fuck, man?!
So my best friend, Chris and I got e-married. Without getting e-engaged first. Because we’re good like that!
Oh my fuck… I cannot believe that I have just a little over 300MB of available data left from the 2GB of data I had loaded on to my SIM card when I purchased my Vodafone Mobile Connect USB Modem last Friday. But it is all good as I went to the mall earlier to spend some of what was left of the money that Arno had sent me and I purchased enough airtime for a 3GB data bundle. So when what the data I have available right now has run out, I can load a 3GB data bundle onto my SIM card.
I’m going to try and make it last the rest of this month. I’ll only be downloading what is of high priority and will only be downloading whatever else probably the day or so before the data bundle’s expiry date.
I also purchased a bottle of hair shampoo, a bottle of hair conditioner, facial products and some tissue oil. I’ve been using Loréal Paris Elvive Colour Protect shampoo and conditioner since I had my hair dyed at my brother’s fiancé’s salon months ago. I have to say that so far has been the longest time that my hair has held any hair color and it has hardly faded if not at all. It also leaves my hair soft and shiny. I really like it. I have to get my roots touched up soon though as the hair has already grown out almost two inches.
I also purchased a few Garnier Pure products; the ‘Night intensive treatment gel’, ‘Active daily treatment moisturizer’ and two packs of ‘Purifying cleansing wipes’. I already had the ‘Deep pore wash’ and ‘Pore purifying astringent’ from the beginning of this year and thought that I’d get these other products from the Garnier Pure range.
I also purchased a bottle of Bio Oil and a bottle of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Instant Nail Hardener just because I’ve heard good things about them.
My gift from Bob will be sent out to me tomorrow and should get here within eight to ten days or so. Gosh, I am so excited about this but I don’t want to get too excited in case something goes wrong… I hope nothing goes wrong!
