Victor and I went out for dinner last night. We sat down at Ocean Basket, made our order and after about an hour of waiting, Victor asks our waiter how much longer it will be before our food is ready. Our waiter told us that we did not order. We did, we ordered our meal when we ordered our first drinks but apparently we did not… Our waiter even brought the bread after we ordered our meal the first time but whatever…
Anyway, we then ordered again and while we were waiting, Victor bought me a beautiful red rose. I felt all special but now I feel a little clumsy because I had forgotten the rose at the restaurant when we left. When I had told Victor that I had forgotten the rose at the restaurant, he told me not to worry and that he will buy another rose for me. He is too sweet!
I still feel so clumsy though. It was right next to my handbag, I guess I did not see it as I just grabbed my handbag…
For dinner we had a seafood platter for two, which we shared. Prawns, calamari, mussels… I really like seafood, prawns are my favorite though. Often here at home, some of my sisters and mother would eat canned mussels. The smoked kind in the oil; I hate them. I prefer the cooked ones that Victor and I had last night though.
I saw my brother at Key West last night too as Victor and I were walking to Ocean Basket and this morning I was to go to his college with my mother. I slept in too late and had a bad headache so I did not go with. My mother is getting her hair cut and I was supposed to have my hair dyed black. I guess that I will get it done, sometime…
I miss my brother. We used to spend so much time when we were both attending college and before he got together with his boyfriend. All the time we used to spend acting like fools and having fun. Telling each other everything and being there for each other… I miss all of it. I miss him!

My brother had done a great job with my hair for his assignment. There was a lot of hair pulling and tugging. Combing, twisting and a lot of hairspray… The style was something I have never had but it turned out very great. It was very different for me but I liked it. I hated that it was such a mission in itself to get my hair undone the next day. There were a lot of hair clips all over the back of my head that kept all of my hair up and it just felt icky because of all the hairspray. I had to wash my hair like three times to get all the hairspray out, my hair felt icky after I rinsed the shampoo off the first time. I have been asked to sit in again so it should be fun. I love spending time with my brother anyway…
I had received my speakers on Friday. This is the third set of speakers that I had ordered and this is the only set that I had been able to receive since the previous two sets were “out of stock”. I still would have liked the first set that I had ordered but they just had to be out of stock. I like this set of speakers though, they are really small and are going to fit well on my desk, especially because of the available space left on it. Oh and of course they are black… I love the color black…
Victor spent the day with me on Thursday. He and I met up with my brother at Jazz Time Café for drinks that night. My brother was depressed and had been crying, I guess he and his boyfriend are having some problems… I am not sure because my brother did not really want to talk about it. Anyway we sipped on our drinks, chatted and chewed on some green and blue strips of liquorice too… After Victor and I had taken my brother home, we went back to my place and just chatted until late and Victor had to leave to go back home…
He is really a great guy. Often I think that he is too good for me. I am not used to being treated so well by a man but I am loving it. He is nothing compared to those that have been in my life… And I hope that from now on things will only get better…
I have lots to write but I will do so tomorrow or sometime. This is just a random boring post, pretty much like all my others… I have been so preoccupied with life that the Internet has been taking up less of my time than it used to. It is a good thing I guess…
