Two Brats and A Cat

My pregnant aunt had found out on Tuesday that she will be giving birth to a baby girl. This family has more females than males. It is awesome. I can not wait to meet my new cousin…

I was babysitting my two younger cousins (and their cousin too, again!) that night as my aunt went to Pretoria to visit my uncle in hospital. As my cousins were being collected by their aunt, my ex best friend, her parents, her brother and his girlfriend arrived.

My ex best friend’s brother and his girlfriend had previously asked if they could leave their truck in our garage and if we could look after their cat until the end of the week. They are moving from the coast to Nelspruit and while staying in town for a few days, they needed a place to leave their cat and truck. My mother told them that they could leave their truck and cat here…

Anyway, while they where here that day, my ex best friend kept following me around, trying to make conversation. When I walked into the study to shutdown my computer, she followed me. As I walked into the lounge on my way to the back room, she followed me. When my youngest sister caught my ex best friend’s attention in the lounge, I made my way into the back room and out the back door to our back yard.

She walked out the back door saying, “You know it is illegal to do that by yourself.” As I lit a cigarette. “So?” I asked as I walked away from her and yet again, she followed me!

I do not like her. She knows that I do not like her. Yet she tries to get close to me. After what she had done to me (that is another story), I do not want her in my life and she knows that too. I wish that she would stop trying to be my friend again, she just irritates me…

Last night I had to baby sit my cousins and their cousin. Their cousin took two of the gel stickers off of one of our glass sliding doors. She showed them to me in the lounge, “Were did you get those?” I asked as I looked at the chewed stickers. “I found them on the floor.” She answered. “Do not lie, I saw you peel them off of the sliding door.” I did not really see her. I knew where the stickers were from and I knew that she had peeled them off. She looked down at the stickers, stood up and walked off. When she returned I noticed that she did not have the stickers in her hands. I asked her where the stickers were and she told me that she had put them back.

She kept pinching and kicking my cousin while we were watching a DVD. My cousin would return the favor, a pinch for a pinch and a kick for a kick. I threatened both of them; I told them that I would smack whoever hurts the other first. Not even five minutes later, my cousin’s cousin mischievously looked at me and kicked my cousin. I leaned forward and lightly smacked her leg. “I told you that whoever starts will get smacked. Tell your mother that I had smacked you even though it was not hard. She will agree that you deserved it. If she were here, she would have smacked you really hard. Is that not true?” I said. “Yes.” She replied. She sulked for a minute or so and then sat next to my cousins and watched the DVD until her mother arrived to collect all three of them.

When my mom arrived back home from a Christmas event later last night, I told her what my cousin’s cousin had done. She looked at the stickers on the sliding door, “Ag, no! They have been chewed!” She was not impressed…

My ex best friend’s brother and his girlfriend arrived earlier to take his truck and make their way to Nelspruit. They left their cat here. Apparently my ex best friend and her parents will take the cat when they go to Nelspruit. I do hope that is soon. That cat is so fucking weird. She will walk by you, rubbing against your leg but when you pick her up she gets aggressive. She starts with my cat through the glass of a window and she has already gone missing twice, returning hours later. I assume she climbs out of a window to get outside. She meows at a door or window when she returns. I do not like that cat.

Today is World Aids Day. Many cities in my country are holding Aids awareness functions and many people have been donating money to HIV / Aids organizations. We donate clothing, food and toys to Aids orphans often. Reach out and help someone infected or affected by HIV / Aids. If you can not help others at least help yourselves…
